The Lucas Oil Off Road championship winners were decided this past weekend at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona.
Fab School Racer Sheldon Creed in the #522 kart started out second in the Modified Kart race, quickly making his way to the lead position. Creed held onto first throughout the race to take the win.
Sheldon Creed also went on to take the 2011 Chamionship in the Junior 2 Kart Class, in the #422 Fox Racing Shox/The Fab School truck. Creed made history and became the first driver in Lucas Oil Off Road history to take championships in three different classes (he won Junior 1 and Modified Karts in '09), and the first Lucas Oil Off Road driver to win a championship in back to back seasons! A huge congratulations to him!
Sheldon Creed took last years championship and this years driving in a Fab School built RF1Mod Kart. For those of you not familiar with our trophy karts you can learn more at WWW.RF1mod.com.
RF1Mod karts are built by our master fabricators/instructors with custom machined parts made here at The Fab School shop.
RF1Mod karts are raced by some of the most successful off road racers in the industry. Our karts can be seen in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series by drivers Sheldon Creed, Jerret Brooks, Miles Cheek and Parker Porter. |
