JONATHAN NGUYEN

Instructor

Jonathan has over 10 years of experience in general fabrication and design, encompassing both the automotive and consumer manufactured goods industries. Jonathan got his start by building a drift car from the ground up, but then transitioned his fabrication skills to designing and building custom aquarium stands and equipment for reef tanks, and manufacturing food grade commercial equipment. After his stint in the military, Jonathan turned his attention to computers where he began building custom units, enhancing his CAD software skills, and becoming proficient in 3D printing. He then took on additional responsibilities as the lead engineer and CNC programmer at Tuff Stuff Fitness, operating multiple lasers, mills, lathes, and benders. Jonathan loves working with students and sharing his experience as it relates to digital design in a manufacturing and production setting.
