TRAVIS COMPTON

Instructor

Travis brings 15 years of composites fabrication experience to The Fab School, specializing in tool making and parts lay-up for the aerospace industry. He spent time at Virgin Orbit working on nearly every composite component for their rockets. Travis also worked at SpaceX creating tooling for both the Starship and Dragon capsule projects. His experience extends past aerospace, as he helped create set and ride assemblies for Universal Studio’s Fast and Furious and Harry Potter attractions, as well as building John Force’s funny car body while working at Metal Crafters. Travis takes a detailed and methodical approach when working with students that allows for easy learning and execution.
